Announcing Adam Sandler Day!

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THOSE IN THE SOUTHERN INDIANA AREA! Don’t have a place to celebrate Adam Sandler Day this season? LET US BE YOUR ADAM SANDLER HOME! I’ll be showing “The Waterboy” at noon on Thursday, December 8th, in Library 462 at UE. All are welcome, snacks provided, pajamas encouraged.

One of my favorite lines from a song is Neil Casal’s “this last year left its mark on me.” I think 2022 has left us all with some scar to talk about. What better way to celebrate surviving, turning that struggle into a story of survival, than coming and sharing a few laughs with friends?

ALSO! Our REIGNING and ONE AND ONLY CZAR OF UNREQUITED LOVE will be reading her winning poem, “My Arizona” at the event. If you would like to come support Alexis (and hopefully other people who would like to read their submissions, too!) we’re going to enjoy her work before the movie. That’s how much I love your poem, Alexis: it’s better than Adam Sandler Day.
